Covering everything from what a campaign actually is and how to choose an issue to work on, to the basics of how to organise a protest, this course will skill you up to get involved in the fight of our lives.

With the eyes of the world on Scotland’s climate action this year, we have a real opportunity to make progress towards building a better Scotland and a world that works for people and the planet.

This is the perfect time to get involved and start talking to your friends and neighbours about how you can come together to take action for real change.

About the Event on 21st April: Escalating Your Tactics

If you’ve tried a few tactics and you feel like your campaign isn’t getting anywhere, it may be time to escalate.

This doesn’t necessarily mean doing something high risk or illegal, there are a million ways to take action that put another level of pressure on decision makers.

Whatever you do, it is important to make sure that you and your group are informed and prepared.

This session will explore some ways you might be able to take action to strengthen your campaign, as well as how to prepare with your group.

Joining and Accessibility

This session will take place online via Zoom on Wednesday, 21st April, 6-8pm BST. You will be sent joining instructions when you have registered.

This session is open to anyone in Scotland currently involved or interested in getting involved in the climate movement. No prior knowledge or experience is needed.

This will be an interactive workshop, but all activities are optional.

The session will not be recorded but slides and resources will be sent out afterwards.

Due to budget restrictions we cannot provide BSL or closed captions as standard, however if either of these or any other accessibility requirements, would make it easier for you to participate, please let us know in your sign up form or email
