A very special evening of classical music in aid of Amnesty International UK, focusing on the global campaign in action all around the world: “BRAVE – Human Rights Defenders”.
Welcomed back to St Mary’s Cathedral are the Edinburgh-based Orchestra of the Canongait, led by conductor Robert Dick and featuring cellist Lindsay Martindale. They shall be delighting us with the evening’s programme of:
- Rimsky-Korsakov – Russian Easter Festival Overture
- Schumann – Cello Concerto
- Tchaikovsky – Symphony No. 4
The evening will also feature a short speech on the Amnesty International campaign BRAVE, a social media appeal action, additional campaign material and light refreshments.
