Work with us

We are recruiting for a Peacebuilding Coordinator to work with the P&J’s administration and information co-ordinator and the charity trustees.

Peacebuilding Coordinator

Salary: £25,285 FTE (£20,228 pro-rata for 4 days)

4 days per week (though we are open to you negotiating to work between 3 and 5 days per week, paid pro-rata)

Hybrid working. Based for half the time at our premises in Edinburgh.

Fixed contract initially for eight months with extension subject to fundraising.

Are you passionate about building social justice, and committed to peacebuilding?

Do you have some experience of community education, and fundraising for projects?

Could you help us develop a project around peace education?

We are looking for a self-starter who could help us build on our peace education work, and also fundraise to extend the post.

You’ll need good communication and networking skills, and some experience of project development, advocacy and event organising.

You’ll be based for half your time at our shared premises and peace shop in Edinburgh. And you’ll work closely with our administration and information coordinator, and the charity trustees.

This is a fixed term contract for eight months, although part of your role will be to fundraise to extend your post.

We particularly welcome applications from marginalised groups, especially people of colour and other ethnic minorities, people who identify as LGBTQIA, disabled people and those who identify as working class or have done so in the past.
