Following the Remembrance Sunday Ceremony at the War Memorial outside City Chambers on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh on Sunday, 8 November members of the Scottish Peace Network laid a white poppy wreath amidst the many red poppy wreaths to remember the millions of civilians, as well as members of the armed forces who have suffered and died, and continue to do so in wars. During the ceremony we stood respectfully at the back of the gathering holding banners which read No More Wars and Resist Militarism.
