Food for Thought: How Social Eating Connects Communities

Event Details

This event is part of the Fire Starter Festival 2019, an annual festival highlighting and celebrating innovation and creativity in Scottish public services, with a particular focus on transformational change. The Festival is curated and organised by Scottish Government, with events hosted by a broad range of public sector, third sector and community organisations.

Join the Eden Project Communities Scotland team for a discussion about how eating together can create connections – in the workplace, in streets, in parks, in community centres, in places of worship, in schools, in prisons… and the different mechanisms that we can use to make it happen.

This is a hands-on and collaborative event where everyone, as experts of our own experience, will be invited to share what interests them, what has worked for them and what they need to create even more positive change in the future.
