We are sending out a public message to ‘Stop Arming Isreal’
Since 2015 the UK Government has approved £335 million worth of arms sales to Israel. These include licences for grenades, bombs, missiles, assault rifles, sniper rifles, ammunition and electronic warfare equipment.
Many children have been the deliberate targets of these deadly weapons with dozens killed and over 3,000 injured by Israeli snipers who are committing war crimes in Gaza.
We will be taking signatures from the public for the #TimeToDivest campaign to pressure local authorities in Scotland to stop finacning the Apartheid state of Israel.
Here in Edinburgh we want the Lothian Pension Fund to divest from Israeli Bank Hapoalim which is involved in financing illegal settlements, IDF projects and so aiding the ethnic cleansing of Palestine.
