Peace and Justice Centre Calls on Foreign Office to Stop Arms Sales to Israel

In response to the ongoing attacks on Gaza which have resulted in the deaths of over one thousand four hundred and forty civilian Palestinians, including nearly 500 children the Edinbvurgh Peace and Justice Centre has written  to Foreign Minister Philip Hammond calling on the Foreign Office to fulfill its obligation not to issue licenses for the transfer of arms to regimes where those weapons are likely to be used in repression or the commission of human rights abuse and to place an embargo on the transfer of weapons to Israel as its actions have certainly violated international humanitarian law.   We invite our readers to use the letter as a template and send your own letter.  Read the full text of the letter here.
