Zero Waste Edinburgh is here, and we’d like to invite you to our launch party!
We’re hosting a festival of Zero Waste, with upcycling workshops, and live entertainment. There will be refreshments and a buffet of rescued food, saved from an unnecessary fate.
Come along and see what we’ve got planned, share your ideas for an Edinburgh without waste and find out how you can get involved.
There’ll also be a mini Swapshop so bring along your old books or clothes and swap them for something better.
Registration is free, however, there is limited space, so book your tickets quick!
About Zero Waste Edinburgh:
We’re on a mission to make Edinburgh a zero waste city. Over the next 2 years, we’ll be working with the 36,000 residents, business owners and students in the southside of Edinburgh’s Old Town to establish long-lasting strategies to reduce waste. Zero Waste Edinburgh is a project coordinated by the SHRUB Coop, funded by Zero Waste Scotland and the European Regional Development Fund until March 2020.

The Food Sharing Edinburgh team will be hosting a delicious zero waste themed buffet where every recipe will have at least one rescued ingredient that would have otherwise been thrown away!

The hall is situated on the ground floor and is accessible by wheelchair. There will also be seating reserved for disabled attendees.
