Join a diverse group of invitees from all our public bodies to consider how citizens can contribute to the huge climate ambition set out in 2050 Edinburgh City Vision: One Year On.

It is the first of the ambitions which emerged from a year of heart-searching involving thousands of contributions from commerce, industry, civil life and citizens:

1. Edinburgh becoming carbon neutral
2. Eradicating poverty as we understand it today
3. Reimagining public space in Edinburgh
4. Making Edinburgh more caring.

From the grassroots it sometimes feels as if the headlong dash for more development, more inhabitants and more visitors does not take into account the need for significantly reducing our carbon – and our ecological – footprint.

The only way to do this is by Pulling Together … by establishing a common understanding of the challenges and the opportunities. Join us in exploring this challenge!
